Counsel or Not

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:27

I often see people quickly run to the man of God (preacher) for direction in their life. Most often, what they are looking for is the confirmation of what they already know.

Don’t misunderstand what I am saying. There’s nothing wrong with godly counsel, but there has to come a time where we walk this walk of faith alone with God.

Sometimes God just wants us to tarry and wait on him because he is working something out for us, with us, or in us.

Remember this one thing: God’s not always going to tell somebody else what he wants you to do. If he’s trying to develop a ministry in you, he’s not always going to give someone else the plans/blueprints.
